Thaimassage Vacanza Beginners
a 10day course in traditional Thaimassage for beginners
- Thursday 11. July 2013 - 6pm until Saturday, 20. July 2013
- Costs: CHF 1600.00 incl. all teachings, manual, vegetarian food and accomodation
- Open for all interested, also beginners: In this course for beginners we
learn sequences and techniques for a 2 hour treatment of Thai massage.
The course travels day by day from the feet to the head, gradually forming a complete Thai massage based on the stretches and acupressure as taught by Thai massage master, 
Asokananda. A large part of the course, supported by sessions of meditation, yoga and tai chi, emphasizes the importance of the spiritual connection and intuition we develop through massage.
The course is held in English and is for both beginners and practitioners of other kinds of bodywork.Thai massage techniques can be effectively integrated into other therapy disciplines such as shiatsu, remedial massage or physiotherapy meaning the course offers the opportunity for therapists of other massage styles to improve and broaden their skills.
There are no prerequisites for the course – everybody can do it and everybody is welcome.

- Day 1: Introduction to Thai massage (history & philosophy), Feet and Linework legs
- Day 2: Single leg stretches
- Day 3: Double leg stretches
- Day 4: Stomach, chest, arms and hands
- Day 5: Side position
- Day 6: Prone position - legs and back
- Day 7: Sitting position
- Day 8: Shoulders, neck and head lines and stretches
- Day 9: Face
- Day 10: Exam and Treatment with feedback

The cost of CHF 1600 covers all teachings and course activities, a manual, vegetarian meals and accomodation in double rooms.

2-day Yoga- & AcroYoga Intensive Workshop with Alex Baechler

between the two Vacanza courses.
Costs: CHF 200.00 for Vacanza students
or CHF 300.00 if you do just this workshop

Wind down after the beginners course or warm up for the advanced course.
This workshop aims to open the chakras and heart energy. Alex is certified
acroyoga teacher, yoga teacher and thaimassage therapist. He is a very joyful
teacher and knows exactly how to bring everyones energy as high up as possible.
a 6day course in traditional Thaimassage for advanced practitioners
- Monday, 22. July 2013 - 6pm until Sunday, 28. July 2013
- Costs: CHF 950.00 incl. all teachings, manual, vegetarian food and accomodation
- For advanced practitioners: In this course we have a look at advanced and more dynamic technics and routines and integrate them into our basic massage.
The course is held in English.
Course prerequisits: The course is open for all thaimassage therapists, who finished a 10day basic course in traditional thaimassage (doesn't matter which school or teacher)
Takis is opening his technique treasure-chest and shows us many new advanced techniques and routines for all positions, which we can integrate into our basic massage. He especially will introduce us to his favourite highly dynamic style (see movie)

Of course there is enough leisure and social time.

- OSTEO THAI FOR THE MAIN JOINTS
Easing joint mobility of the upper and lower limbs (ankle, knee, hip joint, sacroiliac joint, shoulder, elbow and wrist)
